All Packed Up

We are moving to another state this Friday. Mommy has been working weekends and nights to prepare for the move. She has been quite pack-happy, packing anything and everything in her path: all of our dinnerware and cooking utensils, toys, Onyx, etc. I don't even see Matthew around this morning. Daddy said that Matthew is at school today but I suspect he's trapped inside a box somewhere. Seriously, look where Mommy put me last night:

I was so relieved when Daddy found me this morning. At least the box was cozy and I got a good night sleep.

I went to the doctor yesterday for my four month checkup and received two shots. Shots are horrible! I only cried for about 10 seconds and went back to my routine of smiling. I weighed in at 13.14 pounds with a height of 24.75 inches. I'm one happy and healthy baby girl!

This is How I Roll

I've been rolling for at least a few days now but have refused to perform in front of the camera. Let's face it: I do what I want, when I want and still get away with it. Today I finally decided to want to show you:

You're welcome.

I went for a long walk with Matthew and Daddy after rolling around and spending some time on my tummy. We went down to the park and I watched Matthew ride his bike from my chariot. My tummy time workout and being pushed in my ride are exhausting! Time for nap 2 of 4.

Let the Comparisons Begin

Matthew's blog gives me a unique chance to see what he was up to at my age. This allows me to draw comparisons in what promises to be a competitively-loving lifetime relationship. So... I found my legs today. Apparently, Matthew had already found his by now and could grab both feet. He's such an overachiever.

Matthew at 3 months, 18 days

Me at 4 months, 1 day (today)

Lookout, Matthew. I'll catch up some day.

Welcome to My Blog

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Elise. I'm the newest 'Little D'. You may know me as the baby sister of Matthew, the world renowned king of the baby blogosphere. Well, he's four now and no longer a baby. It's my turn to reign. So what do I have to offer? What will keep you coming back and wanting more? Me, of course:

As you can see I'm quite the little chatterbox. I may not wrestle competitively with my stuffed animals or roll at an 8-month level like my brother did at my age (4 months). Instead, I'm all about a sweet smile and a nice conversation in a pink and purple environment. Other than smiling (which is my favorite), I like to eat, sleep, stare and laugh at my brother, and coo. My favorite color: purple. My favorite person: Mommy. She's the best and makes me a happy baby.

Life is kind of busy right now but I will do my best to entertain my new and quickly expanding fan base. Goodbye for now!
